BudgetNook is a small site run by one person. This page explains, in plain terms, what information the site handles.
Using the site and downloading printables
You do not need an account, an email address, or any personal information to browse BudgetNook or to download any printable or the Budget Binder Starter Kit. The PDFs are static files. Nothing you write on a printed PDF is sent anywhere.
Filling in a printable in your browser
Some printables can be filled in on the page before you print them. When you do this, what you type is saved only in your own browser, using its local storage, so your entries are still there if you close the tab and come back. That data never leaves your device and is never sent to BudgetNook or anyone else. You can clear it at any time with the "Clear" button on the printable, or by clearing site data for budgetnook.org in your browser settings.
The email updates list
Entering your email address on the free updates page is entirely optional. If you do, it is stored by the site's forms provider (Netlify) for one purpose: to send an occasional short note when a new free printable or guide is published. It is not sold, rented, or used for anything else, and it is not shared with advertisers. Every update email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also ask to be removed at any time through the contact form. If you never enter your email, none is collected.
Analytics
BudgetNook uses analytics to see which pages are visited and how people find the site, so the useful pages can be improved. This uses cookies and collects general, aggregated information such as page views, approximate location by country, and device type. It is not used to identify you personally.
Advertising
If display ads are enabled on the site in the future, the ad networks involved may use their own cookies, governed by their own privacy policies. Ads are not enabled at this time.

Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it.
